My name is Jon Kelly and I will be writing in this blog about my 'Global venture' to Kisumu. Only three days to go, very exciting! I've just been interviewed for the Global Footsteps newsletter and feel all important.
Today is the final meeting with Morgan at Global Footsteps to receive donations to take to the partner charities in the Kisumu area. I've also got some leaflets to promote Global Footsteps and the connection with Cheltenham and some GF stickers for the photos to come.
Well done to my brother, Matt, Cathy, Kristine and Jenny who all took part in the Cheltenham Circular Challenge last sunday raising money to finance these important donations.
I will update this blog regularly to provide a record of my trip, the first entry will probably be after meeting the Mayor!
